History

Klenner Murphy Electrical Pty Ltd, formerly known as Klenner Electrical, was established in 1998 by its founding Director Gary Klenner, who has a strong electrical background in Project Management on industrial and commercial, installation and maintenance. Due to the continued growth of the company a 50% share in the company was acquired by Daryll Murphy in 2004, the second Director, bringing additional skills to the business, enabling the company to expand its operations, continuing to grow and undertake larger and more complex projects. In 2010 a 50% share in the company was acquired by Dan Greenland and Tim Lane to bring new energy and experience to help drive the continuing growth and enhance the experience and industry knowledge of the Directors.

Directors

Gary Klenner – over 35 years in the industry with experience in commercial buildings, industrial plants and mines, Oil refineries onshore and offshore, High voltage and low voltage reticulation, controls and instrumentation, design and construct projects and senior project management.
Daryll Murphy – over 35 years in the industry with experience in commercial buildings, industrial plants and mines, high voltage and low voltage reticulation, procurement, estimating, and regional business management.
Dan Greenland – over 10 years in the industry with a vast knowledge of controls and integration as well as commercial and industrial construction.
Tim Lane – over 25 years in the industry with vast experience in Design and Construct commercial and industrial projects and project management processes and systems.

Company Strategy

The management strategy at Klenner Murphy Electrical (KME) has always been to provide a personalised and reliable level of service to our clients, to ensure we develop long term working relationships. We believe in forging strong working relationships with our clients, suppliers, sub contractors and employees to ensure that projects are brought to a satisfactory completion without fuss, on time and within budget.

Staff

In addition to the 4 working directors KME/KME Services maintains an office administration staffing level of 4-4 people, Electrical Engineer, Estimator, Project Managers, Project Supervisors and a field staff of approx 65-80 tradesmen, trade assistants and apprentices.
