Sustainability:

The project aimed for a 6-Star Green Star rating, incorporating features like low-carbon concrete, a large rooftop solar system, and water recycling. 

Purpose-built facility:

The center is designed to serve as a key logistics hub for Queensland and beyond, with a focus on customer experience and employee well-being. 

Partnership:

The project highlights a strong partnership between Electrolux, McNab, and the Port of Brisbane. 

Innovative solutions:

The project involved innovative solutions to meet sustainability goals and complex design requirements, including the use of mass timber. 

Our Scope of works:

  • Electrical and communication infrastructure, integrating fibre optics,
  • sewer, and stormwater systems.
  • Design and installation of internal and external lighting systems,
  • including energy-efficient controls and sensors.
  • Power infrastructure provision for warehouses, office spaces, and
  • heavy-duty equipment such as forklifts and EV charging stations.
  • Installation of access control, security, and PA systems with coordinated
  • monitoring points across warehouse and office areas.
  • Coordination with mechanical and hydraulic systems for seamless
  • electrical and communication services delivery.
  • Development and compliance with statutory requirements, Australian
  • standards, and project-specific sustainability goals.
  • Use of BIM and 3D design tools to ensure detailed coordination with
  • other trades and efficient space usage.
  • Provision of temporary power, water, and site management services
  • throughout the construction phase.
  • Commitment to safety in design, ensuring all works comply with AS1170
  • Seismic requirements and Green Star environmental targets.
