This 66-hectare site in the Gold Coast region will become the central hub for the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program, providing vital facilities for the maintenance and stabling of 65 new six-car trains.

Our scope of works includes:

Electrical infrastructure
Extensive underground reticulation
Building fit out
Communications systems
Security and PA systems – supply and installation

The Ormeau Rail Facility will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will feature:

Acoustic-proofed workshops
Office facilities
Internal access roads and train tracks
A dedicated train wash
Stabling tracks with capacity for up to 20 trains
