The new state of the art central hub for Sonic Healthcare’s Queensland arm will provide Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology with much-needed additional space for future growth. The building consists of 3 basement car parking levels, 4 levels of office and laboratory space and 1 roof & plant deck.
Following the initial tender process, Klenner Murphy worked closely with Hutchinson’s and the client on design development and value engineering. As part of the design development, Klenner Murphy re-designed the reticulation, lighting, power, communications and security installations. The design changes enabled the client to achieve their budget and also make power savings that reduced the size of the backup power.
